Gift wrap

Some gifts deserve a slow unwrapping.

This is a single sheet of wrapping paper printed with dried flowers: pressed petals, thin stems and tiny leaves on a soft, warm background. It looks like a page from a botanist's notebook, and it makes even a small box look like it was packed by someone who cares.

The flowers are printed, not glued on, so the sheet lies flat, folds into clean corners and takes tape without fuss. Pick the size that suits your gift, 50 × 70 cm or 70 × 100 cm, and the finish you like: matte for a natural look or glossy for a brighter one. The smaller sheet easily covers a jewelry box, with enough left over for a second.

It costs less than a greeting card and says about as much. Add a length of twine and the gift is ready.
